"WALK IN THE LIGHT OF THE WORD (Allow The Word Of God Guide You)"
The second city session drew a larger crowd than the first.
More teens. More opinions. A few vocal sceptics sat near the front with arms folded. When the floor opened for questions, the tone sharpened. One student challenged whether faith was just a coping mechanism. Another asked why anyone should trust “old words” in a modern world. The room waited to see how the group would respond.
Elena felt the familiar pull to answer from emotion or cleverness. Instead she paused, remembering the day’s TeeVo, and answered from the light of the Word. The others followed the same pattern—steady, clear, and free of defensiveness. The scepticism did not vanish, but the atmosphere remained clean. A few students stayed behind afterward with genuine questions rather than arguments.
On the ride home the group was quiet for a while. Then Jordan said what several of them were thinking.
“It would have been easy to match their tone. I’m glad we didn’t.”
That evening they met under the oak tree one more time. The student Elena had prayed with the day before had already begun sharing a quiet testimony, and attention was spreading faster than they could manage. At the same time, the formal pressure around Elena’s school responsibility had not fully disappeared.
Sofia opened the TeeVo.
WALK IN THE LIGHT OF THE WORD (Allow The Word Of God Guide You)
Key Nuggets from Pastor Chris:
- The Word of God is light (Psalm 119:105). We are called to walk in the light as He is in the light (1 John 1:7).
- Walking in the light means your judgments and opinions are based on God’s Word—not on trends, peer pressure, or popular opinion.
- Under that light you do not see poverty, sickness, failure, or impossibilities as final realities.
- When you agree with the Word, confess it, and act on it, you are walking in God’s light.
- As you walk in the light, the blood of Jesus continually cleanses you. You are free to run the race without the constant burden of sin-consciousness.
Elena looked around the circle. “We’ve had moments where we almost reacted from the pressure of the room or the opinions of people. The TeeVo is saying there’s a different light we’re supposed to walk in—the light of the Word.”
They took the Act seriously. For the rest of the evening, before any decision or reaction, they paused and asked, “What does God’s Word say about this?” The simple discipline changed the quality of their conversation. Opinions softened. Clarity increased. The urge to defend or impress lost its power.
By the time they left the park, the path ahead still held both opportunity and resistance. But it no longer looked uncertain. They were learning to walk under the same light in which God Himself functions—and that light was enough to guide every next step.
TO BE CONTINUED...
_Tomorrow in Episode 26 (Wednesday): The next theme from the August TeeVo will continue to build the group as they learn to live fully conscious of the Word’s authority and the reality it produces in everyday life._
TODAY’S TEEVO TRUTH (Key Nuggets by Pastor Chris):
- The Word of God is light—walk in that light as God is in the light.

- In the light of the Word, failure and impossibility lose their power.
- Walking in the light keeps you clean and free to run your race.
ACTION STEP: Today, before you make any major decision or react to any situation, pause and ask yourself: “What does God’s Word say about this?” Then respond from that light.
SUSPENSE ALERT: The quiet testimony continues to spread, drawing both hunger and criticism. At the same time, a student from the sceptical group at the city session reaches out privately—not to argue, but to ask for a conversation. The group must decide how to walk in the light when the invitation is unexpected and the motives are unclear.
