"SPEAK GOD’S WORD OVER YOUR DAY (Let Nothing Happen To You By Chance)"

Friday morning began with two competing realities.

The first city conversation was now only days away. The shared transportation was confirmed. Caleb was becoming a regular part of the circle. At the same time, the larger responsibility within the school’s student networks had been formally offered to Elena—an invitation to help shape future student forums. It was an honour, but it also meant more visibility, more decisions, and more potential for things to go sideways.

Elena woke earlier than usual, already feeling the weight of possible outcomes. What if the city session fell flat? What if the new school responsibility pulled her in too many directions? What if something unexpected derailed the momentum they had built?

She reached for her phone out of habit, then stopped. Instead she opened the TeeVo.

SPEAK GOD’S WORD OVER YOUR DAY (Let Nothing Happen To You By Chance)

Key Nuggets from Pastor Chris:

- Your life in Christ is not a product of chance. Nothing about you is accidental; nothing around you is random.

- As a Christian you do not operate by chance, nor do you go anywhere or meet anyone by accident.

- The Spirit of God brings divine opportunities, but you must recognise and maximise them.

- Learn to declare God’s Word over your day every morning before you go out.

- Speak peace and productivity. Tell yourself you will walk into divine opportunities and put the divinity of God in you to work.

- Nothing happens to you by chance, because God is not a God of chance.

Elena sat on the edge of her bed and did exactly what the Act instructed. Before she left her room she spoke the Word aloud over the day:

“My steps are ordered by the Lord. Nothing today is by chance. I walk into divine opportunities. The Spirit of God guides my conversations, my decisions, and my reactions. I recognise His presence in every situation and claim everything good and godly. I refuse anything contrary.”

The anxiety did not vanish instantly, but it lost its authority. She left the house with a different consciousness.

At school the day unfolded with unusual clarity. A brief conversation in the hallway opened a practical solution for the city materials. A teacher who had been neutral offered an unexpected word of support. Even a potentially awkward interaction with someone from the old opposing circle stayed clean and short. None of it felt random.

When the group met at lunch, Elena shared what she had done that morning. One by one the others began to practise the same habit—speaking the Word over the rest of the day instead of merely hoping it would go well. The atmosphere among them sharpened. They stopped treating the coming opportunities as fragile chances and started treating them as ordered steps.

By the final bell Elena realised something important. The difference had not been the absence of pressure. It had been the decision to refuse chance as the governing force of the day. She had spoken the Word first, and the day had answered to it.

TO BE CONTINUED...

_Tomorrow in Episode 22 (Saturday): The next theme from the August TeeVo will continue to strengthen the group as they learn to live with even greater intentionality and spiritual awareness in the middle of expanding opportunities._

TODAY’S TEEVO TRUTH (Key Nuggets by Pastor Chris):

- Nothing in your life as a child of God is by chance or accident.

- Your steps are ordered; divine opportunities are real and recognisable.

- Speak God’s Word over your day before you step into it.

- Refuse to give attention to anything contrary to what God has said.

ACTION STEP: Before you leave your room today, speak God’s Word aloud over your day. Declare that He will guide your steps, open doors, and help you make the right choices in every situation. Then walk through the day conscious that nothing is happening by chance.

SUSPENSE ALERT: The first city conversation is almost here. At the same time, the new school responsibility requires Elena to attend a planning meeting where not everyone is supportive of the direction she represents. One comment in that meeting will force her to decide, in real time, whether she will respond from the Word she spoke that morning—or from pressure.

Find out tomorrow!

Keep living out your TeeVo—speak God’s Word over your day and let nothing happen to you by chance!
