TO THE BIBLE: Psalm 24:1
“The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.”
Sunday afternoon found Kemi reviewing the competition notes with a different kind of quiet.
The sections that had looked closed were opening. Clarity was increasing. Yet as she sat with the material, a larger awareness settled over the practical progress. She was not only studying for a contest. She was learning to see herself differently in relation to resources, ideas, and provision.
Tobi dropped into the chair across from her with a bottle of water.
“You’re looking at those notes like they contain more than answers,” he said.

“They do,” Kemi replied. “I’ve been treating success like something I have to scrape together from limited supply. But the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness of it. As His child, I’m an heir. Every resource, every hidden wealth, every unclaimed blessing is mine in Christ. The Bible says He gives the treasures of darkness and the hidden riches of secret places. That includes ideas no one has thought of yet, opportunities, connections, solutions everything I need.”
She closed the notebook for a moment.
“Jesus told Peter to catch a fish, and the exact coin they needed was in its mouth. Provision was already positioned. Long before I was born, God deposited unsearchable riches for me. My inheritance is vast. I’m not supposed to live like someone who is barely getting by. I’m supposed to walk in the revelation that the riches of this world belong to me because they belong to my Father.”
Tobi raised an eyebrow. “So the competition material is also part of that?”
“The wisdom for it is,” Kemi said. “All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ. As I study the Word and fellowship with the Spirit, He opens my eyes to what has already been laid up for me. I’m not begging for scraps. I’m accessing an inheritance.”
She stood, looked out the window, and spoke with clear conviction:
“I’m an heir of God. Every treasure and every good thing belongs to me. I walk in the revelation of His riches, and I lack nothing.”

The words settled into the room. Later, when she returned to the notes, the work felt less like striving against scarcity and more like drawing from a supply that was already hers.
On the way out Tobi glanced at her.
“You’re not just preparing anymore. You’re claiming what’s already yours.”
Kemi nodded. “That’s the shift. My inheritance is vast both what I can already see and the hidden riches still waiting to be discovered. I’m done living small with a rich Father.”
The competition still required focused work. The next steps were still practical. But the container around her thinking had expanded again.
She was an heir.
And the riches of this world belonged to her.
