YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THE FATHER
(It’s The Father’s Good Pleasure To Hear You)

TO THE BIBLE: John 15:16
“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”
The competition material still sat open on Kemi’s desk, but the way she approached it had shifted.
The two weak areas she had identified the day before were no longer just problems to fear. They were specific. Clear. And that clarity created a different kind of moment.
At home that evening she closed the notebook and sat still for a while. Tobi wandered in, noticed the change in her posture, and paused.
“You’re not stressing the list anymore,” he said.

“I’m taking it somewhere else,” Kemi replied. “I’ve been declaring. I’ve been refusing hopelessness. That’s right. But there’s another level. I have access to the Father. Direct access. In the Old Testament people had to go through prophets. Jesus changed that. He said in that day we would ask the Father in His Name and receive. We’re in that day.”
She looked at the closed notebook.
“There’s no need to keep crying about the gap or hoping someone else will fix it for me. I can talk to the Father myself about my grades, this competition, the clarity I need, the strength to cover the material. It’s His good pleasure to hear me. It’s His delight to give me the treasures of the Kingdom. So I’m not going to mutter a timid request. I’m going to ask boldly.”
She did exactly that. Not with drama. Not with repeated begging. She presented the need clearly in the Name of Jesus understanding for the two sections, favour in preparation, the ability to master what still looked unfamiliar and then she thanked Him that she had received the answer.
When she opened her eyes, Tobi was still leaning against the doorway.
“You just… asked and closed it?”
“I asked in faith and received,” Kemi said. “Mark 11:24. Whatever things I ask when I pray, I believe I receive them, and I will have them. The Father is not reluctant. He chose me. He appointed me to bear fruit. And He wants me to come directly to Him.”
Later that night she returned to the material with a different atmosphere around the work less striving, more confidence. The sections that had looked closed began to open as she studied.
On her way to her room she spoke quietly once more:
“I have access to the Father. I ask boldly. I believe confidently. I receive joyfully.”

The competition still required diligence. The material still needed to be covered. But the channel for help was no longer distant or complicated.
She had access.
And the Father was glad to hear her.
