BE CONSCIOUS OF HIS ABILITY IN YOU
(There’s No Limit For You)

TO THE BIBLE: Matthew 17:20
“…for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."
Saturday morning felt open in a way the previous week had not.
The study framework Kemi created was still being used. The girl she had helped sent a short message of thanks. The old group-chat noise around the leaked project had finally gone quiet. For the first time in days, there was no immediate social pressure to manage.
And that created a different kind of test.
Kemi sat on the back steps with her notebook, staring at a bigger goal she had written down weeks earlier and then quietly ignored a subject competition coming up later in the term. The standard was high. Most people in her year treated it as something only a few “naturally gifted” students even attempted. Part of her still ranked it as too far, too soon.
Tobi dropped down beside her with a bottle of water.
“You’re doing the long stare again,” he said. “What’s the mountain this time?”
Kemi tapped the page. “This. I’ve been solving smaller problems and helping people around me. That’s good. But when I look at something bigger, I still feel the limit. Like there’s a ceiling I’m not supposed to touch yet.”
She closed the notebook.
“That’s the exact thinking I have to break. Jesus said if you have faith as a mustard seed, you can speak to a mountain and it will move and nothing will be impossible for you. He didn’t say nothing will be impossible for God. He said for you. Even people who weren’t born again yet were told that. How much more me, with the life of God and the Holy Spirit inside?”
Tobi raised an eyebrow. “So you’re just going to… decide the limit is fake?”
“I’m going to become conscious of His ability in me,” Kemi answered. “I’ve been treating God’s power like something distant that occasionally helps. But the power is already in me. Failure and the down-life are not supposed to be part of my story. There’s no limit to what I can achieve because His ability is at work in me. The only thing that shrinks the result is when I stop being conscious of it.”
She stood up, looked at the competition date written in her notes, and spoke plainly:
“Mountain, be removed. I’m not limited by you. Nothing is impossible to me. The ability of God in me is greater than this challenge.”
It wasn’t loud. It wasn’t dramatic. It was settled.
Later that afternoon she registered for the preliminary round without the old hesitation. The residual fear tried to whisper once more. She refused to agree with it.
On the way inside Tobi glanced at her.
“You actually look like you believe it.”
Kemi smiled slightly. “I’m done focusing on what’s stopping me. My path is set for success and victory. There’s nothing I can’t handle because His strength is working in me. I’m just finally staying conscious of it.”
The smaller battles of the past two weeks had prepared her for this posture.
Now she was refusing every artificial ceiling.
There was no limit.
And she was beginning to live like it.

Identify one “mountain” in your life something that seems impossible. Don’t just pray about it; speak to it. Say: “Mountain, be removed! I’m not limited by you. Nothing is impossible to me!”
