"IT’S ALL TO YOUR ADVANTAGE (Everything Works Together For Your Good)"
The larger platform proposal arrived Saturday morning.
A regional student network had seen clips from the city sessions and wanted the group to take part in a short series of inter-school conversations. It was a clear open door—more reach, more influence, and more responsibility. At the same time, the attention it brought also intensified the quiet resistance. A few voices began questioning whether the group was moving “too fast” or becoming “too spiritual” for general student spaces.
Nathan had asked to keep meeting with them. His presence was sincere, but it also meant the eyes of those who still distrusted the group were now closer than before. One of the long-standing confessions had produced a visible breakthrough, yet the timing of the new opportunity and the fresh scrutiny felt tangled.
When the group met under the oak tree, the mood was mixed—grateful, cautious, and slightly overwhelmed.
“It feels like every good thing comes with a matching complication,” Avery said. “I’m trying not to see the resistance as a sign that we should slow down… but it’s hard.”
Sofia opened the TeeVo.
IT’S ALL TO YOUR ADVANTAGE (Everything Works Together For Your Good)
Key Nuggets from Pastor Chris:
- “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).
- Even seemingly negative situations are part of the process for your promotion—just as Joseph’s betrayal became the path to the palace.
- Count it all joy when trials come, because the result is certain: they will turn out for your good.
- Everything around you—friends, school, even difficult circumstances—can line up to help you win when you trust God.
- Face every challenge with the mindset of someone who already has the advantage. God is setting things up for you to win.
The words reframed the entire week. The open door and the resistance were not opposing forces canceling each other out. According to the Word, they were both being woven into the same outcome—for their good.
Elena spoke slowly. “We’ve been sorting experiences into ‘good’ and ‘bad.’ The TeeVo says all of it is working together for our advantage. Even the pushback. Even the timing that feels messy.”
They decided to practise the Act immediately. Whatever had happened—and whatever still looked uncertain—they declared aloud: “This is working for my good and promotion.” They thanked God for the open door, for Nathan’s hunger, for the breakthroughs, and even for the scrutiny that was forcing them to stay rooted. The declaration did not remove the tension, but it removed the sense that anything was wasted or random.
By the time they left the park, the path ahead still held both opportunity and opposition. Yet the group was no longer interpreting the opposition as evidence that something had gone wrong. They were learning to see every piece as part of a larger design that was already tilting in their favour.
