A star of the television series "Breaking Bad" is mourning RJ Mitte, the Swedish newspaper Sydsvenskan reported on Tuesday, 13 October 2026. The paper did not name the cast member in its headline, and no further details about the circumstances were included in the summary available.
Mitte was known for his role in "Breaking Bad," the drama series that became a global hit. Sydsvenskan framed the news around a co-star's grief, indicating that someone who worked alongside him has spoken publicly about the loss.
The report was carried by Sydsvenskan and surfaced through Google News, where the outlet also pointed readers toward additional headlines and perspectives on the story.
Because the available material contains only the headline and a brief summary, key facts — including the actor's age, the date and cause of death, and which colleague commented — have not been confirmed here. Readers should treat further claims circulating online with caution until they are verified by the outlet or the family.
Sydsvenskan is a Swedish daily based in Malmö. Its coverage of the story was published Tuesday morning and aggregated through Google News' Swedish edition.
What to watch next: whether Sydsvenskan or other outlets publish a full report naming the co-star and confirming additional details about Mitte's death.
