Behold, I Do a New Thing — Prophetic Sermon

INTRODUCTION

There is a people in this story. They are named—Israel—but that is intentional by the Spirit of God. Because THEY ARE YOU. They are everyone who has been through the fire, walked through the flood, experienced the wilderness, and yet dared to believe that God was not finished with them.

The Holy Ghost brought me to this passage for someone watching this right now. Before I preach, I want you to receive this word into your spirit:

YOUR SEASON OF THE NEW HAS ARRIVED.

VERSE 18 — "Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old."

Stop right there. Did you see that word?

REMEMBER NOT.

The Bible did not say the former things never happened. It did not say you were exempted from them. You went through them. You felt them. You suffered them. But the scripture declares—do not remember them. Do not dwell on them. Do not let them hold you back.

Every failure has an expiry date. Every pain has a final tear. Every regret has a last echo. And I am sent to tell you today:

YOUR FORMER THINGS ARE OVER.

This is your AFTER FAILURE. You failed the exams. You failed the interview. You failed the business. You tried and it crumbled. But hear me—the season of failure in your life is EXPIRED. You shall pass. You shall be promoted. You shall succeed in the very area that once defeated you.

This is your AFTER HEARTBREAK. You were rejected. You were abandoned. You were betrayed. But I prophesy: the famine of love in your life has ENDED. God is bringing you into a new season of relationships—divine connections, restored family, and a love that will not fail.

This is your AFTER SICKNESS. That disease that has lingered—cancer, diabetes, fibroid, hypertension, HIV, infertility, mysterious illness, spiritual sickness—the famine of your health is OVER. Receive your healing NOW in Jesus' name!

VERSE 19a — "Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?"

Stop right there. Did you see that word?

BEHOLD.

God is not just saying He will do something—He is saying BEHOLD! Pay attention! Open your eyes! The new thing is not a distant hope; it is a present reality. It is springing forth even now.

God is not limited by your past. He is not intimidated by your failures. He is the God who makes all things new. And He says, "Shall ye not know it?" In other words, you must perceive it. You must believe it. You must receive it.

🔥 Receive it:
This is your AFTER BARRENNESS. You are married. You have prayed. You have cried. You have been to the hospital. You have been to the altar. But I prophesy: the famine in your womb, in your home—it has ENDED. You shall carry your baby. You shall nurse your child. Your testimony is loading!

This is your AFTER POVERTY. You have known lack. You have known struggle. You have known what it means to not have enough. But God is doing a new thing. He is opening doors of opportunity. He is bringing you into abundance. Your days of begging are over. Your days of borrowing are over. You shall lend and not borrow. You shall be the head and not the tail.

This is your AFTER SHAME. People laughed at you. They mocked you. They said you would never amount to anything. But God is doing a new thing. He is restoring your dignity. He is vindicating you. He is making your enemies your footstool. Your shame is turning to glory!

VERSE 19b — "I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."

Stop right there. Did you see that word?

WAY.

God is not just promising to improve your situation—He is promising to make a way where there is no way. In the wilderness—the place of confusion, the place of wandering, the place of lack—He makes a way. In the desert—the dry place, the barren place, the place of death—He brings rivers.

This is the God we serve. He specializes in the impossible. He thrives in the barren places. He is not intimidated by your wilderness. He is not overwhelmed by your desert.

🔥 Receive it:
This is your AFTER CONFUSION. You have been wandering. You have been uncertain. You have not known which way to turn. But God is making a way. He is giving you direction. He is ordering your steps. You shall not miss your path. You shall not miss your season. You shall not miss your destiny.

This is your AFTER DRYNESS. You have been in a dry place. Your prayer life has been dry. Your worship has been dry. Your faith has been dry. But God is bringing rivers. Rivers of living water. Rivers of joy. Rivers of peace. Rivers of provision. You shall be refreshed. You shall be renewed. You shall be revived.

DECLARATIONS

Say it with me:

I FORGET THE FORMER THINGS.

I DO NOT CONSIDER THE THINGS OF OLD.

GOD IS DOING A NEW THING IN MY LIFE.

IT IS SPRINGING FORTH NOW.

I PERCEIVE IT. I RECEIVE IT. I BELIEVE IT.

GOD IS MAKING A WAY IN MY WILDERNESS.

HE IS BRINGING RIVERS IN MY DESERT.

MY NEW SEASON HAS ARRIVED!

PRAYER

Father, I thank You for Your Word. I thank You that You are the God who makes all things new. I receive the new thing You are doing in my life. I let go of the former things. I let go of the failures, the pain, the shame, the disappointments. I fix my eyes on You. I perceive the new thing. I believe it is springing forth now. I declare that You are making a way in my wilderness and rivers in my desert. I receive my healing, my breakthrough, my restoration, my vindication. I receive my new season. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Someone watching this right now, your season of the new has arrived. God is not finished with you. He is not limited by your past. He is doing a new thing. It is springing forth. Can you perceive it? Can you believe it? Can you receive it?

I prophesy to you: your wilderness is becoming a highway. Your desert is becoming a river. Your dry bones are coming alive. Your mourning is turning to dancing. Your shame is turning to glory. Your lack is turning to abundance. Your failure is turning to success. Your sickness is turning to health. Your barrenness is turning to fruitfulness. Your confusion is turning to clarity. Your dryness is turning to revival.

This is your AFTER. This is your NEW THING. This is your SEASON.

Receive it. Believe it. Testify.
