Samsung Launches Neo WindFree Ultra Air Conditioner in Indonesia With Built-In Air Purification

Samsung has introduced a new air conditioner in Indonesia that pairs cooling with air purification, according to Tek.ID. The unit, called the Neo WindFree Ultra, carries a PM1.0 filter for cleaning the air, infoka.id reports, and includes AI-driven features. Tek.ID puts the starting price at roughly Rp10 million.

Coverage of the launch points to two main selling points beyond cooling. The first is air purification: infoka.id describes the Neo WindFree Ultra as delivering comfort alongside cleaner air through its PM1.0 filter. The second is efficiency. Koran Jakarta reports that this new generation of air conditioners can cut energy use by as much as 41 percent.

Samsung's WindFree line is not limited to the Ultra model. ChatNews.id reports the company also released a Neo WindFree Lite variant in Indonesia, giving buyers a second option in the same family.

The launch reflects a broader push by appliance makers to fold air treatment and smart controls into cooling products, though the reporting available so far focuses on the Indonesian lineup and its pricing rather than detailed specifications. Tek.ID's price figure of around Rp10 million applies to the range's entry point, with the Ultra and Lite models positioned as separate choices.

Buyers and analysts will be watching for fuller specifications, including official energy ratings and filter performance data, as Samsung rolls the Neo WindFree Ultra out across the Indonesian market.
