Many people believe miracles happened only in Bible times. Others think miracles are rare or reserved for a special few. But the truth revealed in Scripture is clear: miracles are a natural result of faith in Jesus Christ.
Jesus did not say miracles would stop. In fact, He said:
“He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do.” — John 14:12
This means miracles are not history—they are present-day realities.
What Is Faith?
Faith is not wishful thinking.
Faith is confidence in God’s Word and action based on that confidence.
The Bible defines faith as:
“The substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” — Hebrews 11:1
Faith connects the believer to the power of God. Without faith, miracles remain unseen—not because God is unwilling, but because faith is the channel through which His power flows.
Jesus Christ: The Source of All Miracles
Every miracle recorded in Scripture points back to one source—Jesus Christ.
- The blind saw because they believed
- The lame walked because they responded in faith
- The dead were raised because faith activated divine power
Jesus never turned away anyone who came to Him believing.
“According to your faith be it unto you.” — Matthew 9:29
Faith Releases Healing
Healing is one of the most visible expressions of faith.
The Bible says:
“They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” — Mark 16:18
Healing is not God deciding to act occasionally; it is part of the finished work of Christ. Faith simply receives what Christ has already provided.
Across the world—and even here in Ho, Volta Region—people are receiving healing from sicknesses, diseases, and long-standing conditions by believing in Jesus Christ.
Faith Produces Miracles Beyond Healing
Faith does more than heal the body. It:
- Restores broken families
- Opens closed doors
- Delivers from fear and oppression
- Brings financial and emotional restoration
The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is at work in every believer today.
Miracles Through the Gospel Today
Miracles did not stop with the apostles. Through the preaching of the Gospel and faith-filled prayer, God continues to confirm His Word with signs following.
This is why global programs like Healing Streams Live Healing Services and daily devotionals such as Rhapsody of Realities continue to produce undeniable testimonies of healing and restoration worldwide.
Faith Is Activated by Hearing the Word
The Bible reveals a powerful principle:
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” — Romans 10:17
The more you hear the Word of God, the stronger your faith becomes. This is why being part of a Word-based church is vital for sustained faith and consistent miracles.
